Vintage after vintage, Brian's Bella Vida bottlings reflect the richest elements of our Dundee Hills vineyard.
A New Yorker who began his wine career in the sixth grade with some home- made concord wine, Brian found his way to Oregon by means of California where he began crafting wine for family and friends.
Smitten with Pinot Noir, Brian and his wife, Jill, founded Belle Pente in 1992 with the purchase of a 70- acre farm just east of Carlton. Here he set a goal to craft Old World style wines of impeccable balance and seductive complexity that represent a strong sense of place.
We think you'll find that Bella Vida / O'Donnell reflects our vineyards perfectly each and every vintage.
The co-owner of Dominio IV, Patrick's guiding hands ensure that our Two Row Proprietor's Cuvee is a rich expression of our vineyard each year.
Patrick learned about winemaking while working harvests in Chile, New Zealand, Napa, Burgundy and Oregon, where he grew up. He graduated from the University of California Davis where he studied terroir while his wife, Leigh, studied viticulture.
Patrick and Leigh started Dominio IV in 2002 and have been working with Viognier, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Tempranillo ever since.
You'll find his guidance over our Two Row a delightful balance of our site, soil, vintage and Mother Nature's quirky variations.
The Jacques' bottling for Bella Vida evolves gracefully and while very enjoyable at release, they easily cellar for at least five years. Steady evolution is a hallmark of a Tardy wine. Each vintage to date improves year after year.
Currently the winemaker at Torii Mor, Jacques is a pillar winemaker in Oregon since 1990.
Jacques was born in Nuits Saint Georges in the Burgundy region of France. There he studied at the prestigious Lycée Viticole de Beaune where he began his long love of Pinot Noir. The Old World ethic he brings to our wine is unmistakable.
The elegance of a Bella Vida/Tardy is an ideal pairing for evenings relaxing with great friends and exploring the classic Northwestern Cuisine.
